Carrie has helped me to get rid of my lisp, to the point where it now feels unnatural to speak how I used to!! It required a lot of practice out of session time, but Carrie gave me the skills and motivation to keep trying, and after a few weeks it all paid off. Carrie has worked with Helen since she was 13. Carrie made an immediate connection with Helen and quickly understood her needs and how to move her forward. Helen enjoys her sessions which enables her to work hard during them, and more latterly, in completing independent work between them. Carrie’s sessions are always well-planned to meet Helen’s particular needs, but she is also able to quickly adapt her plans if needed. The sessions are very innovative and her materials are of the highest quality. Carrie is so positive and encouraging which makes Helen look forward to working with her each week. Helen has formed a close bond with Carrie over the past 6 years, and made huge progress with her speech and communication. She is now a confident and chatty young lady!
